Are you the Victorian Society's new Communications and Media Manager?

This is an exciting role for someone looking to take the next step in their career.

  • £27,000-£31,000, plus 5% pension contribution
  • 25 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays and Christmas Eve to New Year's Day (inclusive) when the office is closed
  • London based but with the possibility of some remote working by arrangement
  • Full-time

You will work closely with The Victorian Society’s Director in continuing to develop our media and social media presence. You will be responsible for maintaining our website and issuing press releases and will support the Director as required. You also will work with our part time events co-ordinator to promote events in press and social media as appropriate.

We are seeking someone with a track record of demonstrable success and the ability to respond quickly to new challenges. We do not require expertise in all areas, but you must be able to absorb information quickly and tackle new challenges with creativity and common sense. You should be proactive and able to work independently to solve problems but also be able to work collaboratively with the Director and other staff and volunteers.
