The Victorian Society is looking to hire a new Media Officer.
Our Media Officer is responsible for publicising the work and role of the Victorian Society in a wide variety of media, and also for engaging communities in campaigns to save Victorian and Edwardian buildings and landscapes threatened by demolition or insensitive development.
You’ll need excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to present complex information in a concise, accurate and understandable way so as to get people enthused about our campaigns. A knowledge of Victorian and Edwardian architecture would be an advantage. Travel throughout England and Wales may occasionally be involved. Three year contract subject to performance and funding.
To apply, first of all you'll need to read the job description and selection criteria.
Then, if you think the job is for you, you'll need to send us your CV and a covering letter that addresses the selection criteria, along with two examples of your writing.
Applications should be sent by email to email@example.com by Wednesday 30th January 2019. Interviews will take place on Wednesday 27th February.
If you have any problems email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone Richard Seedhouse on 020 8747 5890.
